"The Shamanix™ weekend was an amazing experience which has opened up my sensory awareness tenfold. Susanna Bellini drew upon on her years of Shamanic learnings from different cultures, together with her skills in NLP and Healing Therapies to elegantly teach the group how to open up all their senses to experience how much more is going on around us than we are usually aware of.

On the first morning I was soon able to see, feel and hear the energies of the other people in the room as well as the energies of various stones, plants. crystal and flora. During the lunch break I walked the historic City walls tuning in to the whole environment and I was seeing buildings and people in a way that I had never before experienced. I was able to get into a deeply relaxed state and vibrate and communicate with the historical surroundings. Soon we were able to calibrate to our own and others energies and were controlling and sending our energies to others in the group.

Later Susanna showed us how to create an inner place of sanctuary deep within our minds. During the second day we travelled back to our inner place and were able to meet our spirit guides, who are there to advise and counsel us if we so choose. As if this wasn't amazing enough we were then introduced to our animal guides and we learned how to take on the qualities and features of the chosen animal as we were learning the art of shapeshifting.

The weekend finished on an absolutely mind blowing experience as we were able to make contact with our higher self through a guided meditation conducted by Susanna. By then end of the weekend I was aware of the room being full of colours, sounds, smells and energies from beyond the physical plane. The skills taught by Susanna are much more than an historical experience of the techniques of long dead shamen, but are useful skills which are relevant and adaptable to living in the 21st Century."

I wrote the above review after attending the first Shamanix™ weekend in 2002. I had heard that Susanna Bellini has since actually improved the seminar and was now teaching brand new Shamanix™ material that wasn’t in the first seminar. I was curious to see for myself, so last weekend I headed over to York and I certainly wasn’t disappointed! -Susanna had indeed managed to improve the Shamanix™ weekend and was teaching even better applications of the material than the first time around.

The calibration, manipulation and playing around with energies was even more intense than before. We learned how to get into a great state to sense and calibrate the energies of other people. Whilst blindfolded, we could use our hands to closely trace the outline of a partner without touching them, just by sensing the energy of their aura. The partner, also blindfolded, could also feel the energies of the person scanning them. We returned to the calibration of energies time and time again throughout the weekend and each time we found our sensing skills had increased significantly. We could soon not just only sense people’s energies but sense specific colours, sensations and emotions within these energies. On Sunday morning the whole group were walking around a small room whilst blindfolded without bumping into each other because we could easily sense the presence of other people’s energies around us.

Then the really fun stuff began – creating and throwing energy balls. Like in the last seminar, we created these intense balls of energy which we all had great fun with, but in this seminar we learned some extremely cool things to do with the energy such as learning methods of psychic attack and psychic defense by calibrating energies thrown at us for either negative or positive intention, then amplifying or changing the energies we were receiving. One interesting thing that happened to me during this session was whilst we were learning to calibrate the positive or negative energies thrown at us, the partner I was working with was throwing energy balls at me from my rear and as the energy slammed into my body, I felt a reaction of turning blue from head to foot, although I didn’t particularly perceive this energy as an attack, I just felt a warning sign from my unconscious. When I asked my partner about it, she said she had intended to throw the energy with the positive feelings of eating a black forest gateau. Yummy! However, despite her positive intentions, I mentioned that for the last couple of months I have eliminated processed sugar from my diet. My unconscious had obviously picked up on the intention of the energy ball but had protected me as the otherwise positive intention in the energy would have had a negative effect on my goal of healthy eating.

Also crammed into the seminar were lots of other techniques and exercises. For Instance, we learned Divination. This was the first time I’d ever used divining rods and I was amazed that it worked for me with 100% accuracy. First we used the rods to find various objects around the seminar room, and then we went out into the ancient dry moat below the City walls to find object in the undergrowth. I decided I wanted to find a living animal. I held the divining rods out and walked around saying ‘I want to find a mouse’. Suddenly the rods crossed over and I pulled away at the undergrowth underneath. There wasn’t a mouse but I was directly over a mouse borrow-hole.

Also Susanna taught the group in the use of casting rune stones. Again this was a useful technique for helping to make decisions. I asked a question about the likely success of an outcome I had wished for. As I cast the stones, the stone representing a ‘yes’ answer was fairly close to the stone I had to represent myself and my outcome. However there was another stone between these that represented an obstacle. Using the information I’d gotten I reformulated the outcome and the obstacle had moved further away but was still present. I repeated this process for about another four castings, and eventually the obstacle stone rolled right off the table and the ‘yes’ stone was sat right next to the myself/outcome stone. Also we learned some terrific techniques on Manifestation and we were guided into trance where we met our power animal.

We had a fabulous afternoon in the sunshine when we walked as a group along the historic City walls and we interacted with the energies of the plants and trees that overhung the walkway, and with the stones of the walls themselves. This was so amazing to look at all the colours and vibrations from all these energies and to completely interact and become immersed in them. Whilst we were walking along the walls another attendee threw energy balls at fluffy white clouds in the sky and the clouds then began to dissipate before our eyes. I kid you not!

It was a fantastic weekend; the whole group had lots of amazing experiences throughout the two days. I probably haven’t mentioned half the things we did, but I learned lots of cool techniques and I can honestly say that Susanna is continuing improve and develop the Shamanix™ experience all the time. Next time that Shamanix™ is been held in your region, make sure you don’t miss it.

That was just ONE of the cool things I learned to do.

I attended Susanna's first Shamanix™ course back in 2002.

I was slightly sceptical of energy stuff back then, yet open minded about it. One of the great things about Susanna's teachings is that she is very down to earth and doesn't talk in New Age mumbo jumbo.

It was interesting to attend the course a second time as it allowed me to discover how my previous learnings had solidified and of course she had new material for us all.

For some reason it was beautiful weather all weekend (hmmm coincidence?! )

We all enjoyed practicing various skills outside.

This included using divining rods to find coins, specific plants, types of tree, animals and of course the nearest pub!

As a group we all walked along the York Walls and sensed energies emanating from this ancient structure. There are also some remarkable trees along this route and we 'communicated' with these wise friendly Oaks using Pico Pico breathing techniques.

At one of the stopping points, Susanna explained a very interesting concept of hers of how the trees seem to have a communication network between them. Using our second sight we could perceive a kind of mist between each tree that communicated using energies.

Other things we learned that I can remember include:

• Shamanic Stone Casting for Divination (I really liked this technique. It gets the 'creative solutions' part of your mind going for helping others and yourself.)

• Manifestation Tips (Step by Step Instructions for manifesting your wants and desires into reality!)

• Sensing Peoples Energies Whilst Walking Around Blind-Folded!

• Energy Ball Throwing (How to throw 'energy balls' into people at a distance. Make those miserable people happy, make that person relax more, wake that sleepy so and so up)

• How To Pull Energy Cords Out of People (This was fun! Try doing it with elastic cords! LOL)

• Contacting Your Power Animal (A popularised Shamanic technique. I was pleasantly surprised how beneficial this exercise was. Susanna's superb trance induction had me in another parallel universe where I met my power animal which turned out to be a Panda! He gave me a very empowering personal message and has visited me a couple of times since.)

Overall in general I believe the main thing I learned from the course was how to sense and calibrate subtle energies in it's many varied aspects. I was pleased to discover that my subtle energy sensing skills increased significantly by the end of the weekend.
