On my way to assist at an NLP training course in London, I fell downstairs at the station and really hurt my knee. Susanna took pity on me when she spotted me hobbling and wincing down the stairs on my arrival, and gave me Reiki treatment there and then. The effect was very amazing and my knees were healed (better than they were before I fell down) and I decided to explore this new arrival in my life. I trained over about five years, Reiki I, II and Master, with Susanna.
I work as a therapist with children, and have treated hundreds of children. I often use Reiki as part of my work with them. Children feel the benefits very quickly, and report feelings of calm and warmth, they see the colours and feel better. I send distance healing and they respond to this also. It's as though all the buzzy, fuzzy feelings that troubled them get tuned out like interference on a radio. I have seen children and adults with severe pain, chronic illness, extreme anxiety, and with ferocious anger problems improve magically after Reiki treatment, and it never ceases to amaze me. This continued success using a skill so ancient and so seemingly unscientific encourages me and those I treat to begin to reach out beyond the materialistic world that so dominates us, and to look out for wider horizons.
Susanna is a superb healer and teacher, whose responsible and respectful approach allows learners to experience Reiki at the pace best for them, and she is always there to guide and support. Having already completed both my Reiki I and II training with Susanna, she allowed me the time and space to develop in my own way.
