How to Find Us

Arriving by car: Drive to the nearest Park and Ride, take the bus, then walk. Alternatively drive into York city centre and follow the inner ring road round to Lord Mayor’s Walk. Bronze Dragon / St John’s House is half way along on the corner of St John Street.

Parking:

The Park and Ride service is easy and cheaper than city centre parking. Buses drop you at city centre locations about 5-10 minutes walk from the venue. All information is here:

Otherwise all day parking in Haxby Road car park is the cheapest and about 10 minutes walk away. All day parking is available in Monk Bar car park (access off St John Street). You can park and pay by phone in advance on 0870 428 3854 - it is Monk Bar, Location No. 7708.

Arriving by train:

St John’s House is approximately 20 minutes walk or a short taxi ride from York station.
