Go somewhere completely different – in your neighbourhood. Decide to walk the dog down different streets, or set off on your own starting at your home or on your usual route to work and then branch off into a new area. Take a detour, if you don’t have much time.
Notice what you notice: your own impressions and thoughts as much as new things you may find.
There are often places right by your home or work that you know nothing about; you have no reason to go there. Yet you may find that there is something interesting or useful to you, closer than you realised.
What did you find?
